I’m a hugely experienced series producer and producer/director, with several years of top-quality credits to my name. I’ve made programmes in history, science, current affairs and factual entertainment for almost all the major broadcasters, including the BBC, Channel 4, The Discovery Channel and National Geographic.
Before starting my career in television, I spent two years working in a factory, a year in telesales and another as a full-time barman.
I’ve an expertise in Middle Eastern politics and history and I’ve filmed across the region on several occasions, plus an extensive knowledge of eastern Europe under communism – and a complete and utter fascination with all things American. There’s nothing better than heading to Heathrow and lighting out for the territory.
I was born and bred in Birmingham and the Black Country, though I now live in north London with my two young sons.
